Terms of Service & Warranty Conditions

1. Detailing Studio Appointments & Pricing
All detailing, PPF wrapping, ceramic coating, and restoration services booked at The Detail Ace are governed by these Terms. Calibrated package rates displayed on the website are guaranteed for OEM factory paint condition. Custom modifications, aftermarket repainted panels, or severe existing damage will be evaluated transparently during the pre-service paint audit.
2. Pre-Service Vehicle Inspection & Paint Audit
Prior to initiating any service, our master technicians perform a comprehensive 60-point check, including digital ultrasonic paint thickness (micron) measurements and high-CRI lighting inspection. Any existing rock chips, repainted panels, clear coat failure, or deep substrate scratches are logged with photographic evidence and shared with the owner.
3. Self-Healing 7.5 & 8.5 Mil TPU PPF 10-Year Warranty Coverage
Genuine Self-Healing 7.5 & 8.5 Mil TPU PPF Paint Protection Film installed at our cleanroom studio includes a manufacturer-backed warranty covering:
- Optical Clarity & Yellowing: Guaranteed resistance to yellowing or UV hazing under extreme regional heat (up to 50°C).
- Adhesive Stability: Protection against premature lifting, bubbling, cracking, or delamination under normal driving conditions.
- Self-Healing Performance: Thermal self-healing of micro-swirls and light surface abrasions in sunlight or warm water.
4. Warranty Exclusions & Customer Aftercare Requirements
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical collisions, deliberate vandalism, or high-speed motor vehicle accidents.
- Washing with high-pressure nozzles held closer than 12 inches (30 cm) directly against wrapped film edges.
- Application of abrasive household detergents, acid wheel cleaners, or unauthorized solvent wipes.
- Installation performed on non-OEM, poorly cured repainted panels without prior disclosure.
5. Delivery and Quality Assurance Handover
Upon completion of work, the vehicle undergoes a final inspection under our 5000K CRI-95 hexagonal light array. Customers receive an official warranty certificate, digital registration record, and personalized aftercare instructions.
